Andrew Ross Moves On

It is with mixed feelings we bid Andrew goodbye on his departure from RiverBend. We wish him the best in his future endeavours – he will be missed. Hopefully we will continue to benefit from his interest and knowledge in wine although at a greater distance. Santé, Andrew.

Andrew came to RiverBend with seventeen years in the Food and Beverage industry having held management positions at Katana Kafe, Oscars Steakhouse, Robinson Hall, North Restaurant and Tuscanos. Six of those years were specifically in wine and spirit imports, otherwise known, in Ontario, as the consignment wine program.

In 2009 Andrew founded ITSOKTOWINE a company that focuses on wine education portfolio and cellar management and specialty wine dinners. Andrew completed his level 2 Sommelier Diploma through the International Sommelier Guild.

With a zest for food and beverage pairings and a passion for empowering all that came looking for information, Andrew introduced interactive and innovative activities to RiverBend’s residents, members and guests.
